About This Station

The station is powered by an Ambient Weather WS-1000 weather station. The data is collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 1 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

About This City

Parkland is located at 2618'55?N 8014'26?W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 12.8 square miles (33.2 km2). 12.3 square miles (31.9 km2) of it is land and 0.50 square miles (1.3 km2) of it (3.97%) is water. The northern boundary of Parkland coincides with the border between Broward and Palm Beach counties. West Boca, an unincorporated area of Palm Beach County that extends west of Boca Raton's city limits, lies to the north. Coconut Creek lies to the east, Coral Springs lies to the south, and the west is bound by The Everglades.
